During a training camp organized by the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church, the chief guest praised Mohsin Raza for the altruistic spirit with which he is serving the community, bringing education to those in need. Mohsin Raza is tirelessly spreading the light of education to underprivileged children through his “Rooh” initiative. He has been actively working towards this noble cause since 2016.
In the last seven years, his efforts have reached 200 children, with the initiative beginning with just 12 children in 2016. Mohsin Raza personally funds the initiative, renting a room for just Rs. 1,000 per month. From August 17, 2023, he launched a new center to expand his reach. Currently, there are 80 students enrolled in the computer and sewing training courses offered by the center. Additionally, a further 90 children are being educated in free coaching classes.
The initiative began in 2016 with the aim of empowering the children of laborers in the Aligarh district through education. The effort started with a few computers, and over time, it has grown significantly. In a world where education is often treated as a commodity, Mohsin Raza’s selfless dedication stands out as he continues to provide quality education to those who need it the most.
The impact of his work is evident. Many students, who once had no hope of receiving an education, are now gaining valuable skills in computer literacy and sewing, thanks to the “Rooh” initiative. Mohsin Raza, along with his team, remains committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn and grow, regardless of their socio-economic background.
As Mohsin Raza continues to light the way for others, his work is a shining example of how one person’s passion can bring about real change in society.
